Dad Kills Son Over Vaccination Dispute
9-year-old Pierce O’Loughlin was killed in a murder-suicide by his father.
The boy and his father, 49-year-old Stephen O’Loughlin, were both found dead at their San Francisco home on Scott Street in the Marina District, according to an SF Chronicle report.
After hearing that Pierce did not show up for school, his mother, Lesley Hu, asked police to check on her son.
Stephen allegedly shot his son multiple times and then turned the gun on himself.
Hu and O’Loughlin divorced in 2016. They were involved in an ongoing custody battle over their son Pierce.
Hu filed for sole legal custody of her son last year. In the filing, she mentioned Stephen’s growing adherence to the anti-vaccine movement, which is led by people who believe that vaccines cause autism and other disorders.
Stephen was adamantly against Hu’s wishes to get their son vaccinated.
Hu’s attorney, Lorie Nachlis, mentioned mental illness and domestic violence in a statement.
Nachlis insists that Pierce was killed over more complicated reasons than a disagreement regarding vaccinations, according to a KRON4 report.
“As Father was seeing that he was losing his control, he punished Lesley with the ultimate act of violence: Killing her child. She will suffer, as intended, for the rest of her life,” Nachlis said.

If one seriously looks at the history of vaccinations, one must conclude that yes, there are some adverse effects that are FAR outweighed by the positive effects of vaccinations! This father had to be mentally imbalanced not to see that his actions were overkill compared to the benefits!

So sorry for your loss and pain Ms Hu and there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better. I had a son murdered by a doctor. I sued and won but it did nothing for my broken heart! I do know this, when we are gathered at the Valley of the Shadow of Death, God always shows up in some way or form and will lead you out of that valley and show you the meaning that gives rest to your soul. You will always carry your son in your heart and there Will come a day when you see his face ,you will smile again, and find forgiveness for this horrific tragedy. Prayers and Peace
