Man Who Kidnapped and Murdered a Amish Girl Charged

Authorities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania have charged 34-year-old Justo Smoker for kidnapping with murder in the disappearance of 18-year-old Amish girl Linda Stoltzfoos.

Stoltzfoos disappeared while she was walking home from church in Upper Leacock Township on June 21.

“In consideration of the evidence collected over the past six months, our office has approved the filing of a charge alleging Smoker killed Linda after kidnapping her while she walked home from church on Beechdale Road in Upper Leacock Township,” the DA’s office said in a press release.

Authorities have still not been able to locate Stoltzfoos’ body.

“Given the circumstances of Linda’s disappearance; specifically, that she was forcefully abducted by a stranger, we always feared she suffered a tragic fate,” Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams said Monday.

“After careful consideration of all of the facts uncovered by the investigation as a whole, we are now in a position —legally — to charge Smoker with murder.”

According to authorities, there were many pieces of physical evidence that led to the murder charge. Police found a bra and pair of stockings buried near a business where witnesses saw Smoker.

Stoltzfoos’ trek from church to home was around nine-tenths of a mile. Investigators believe that she stayed on the road while walking home because of a creek between the church and her residence. They also believe Smoker had pulled his car off into a farm lane, then approached Stoltzfoos as she walked.

The investigation also revealed he had purchased alcohol, multiple pairs of disposable cleaning gloves, and shoelaces before his car was spotted in the area of the kidnapping.

Smoker later went home, thoroughly cleaned his car, and then threw away shoelaces and gloves.

“Investigators and prosecutors must follow the facts, the evidence and the law to reach conclusions,” Adams said.  She continued, “a careful review of each of these factors leads us to the inevitable conclusion that Linda is deceased and provides the basis for the filed charges.”

  1. Why does scum like Smoker even get a
trial ,make him walk down the same road
and then trash him just like did to the Amish
girl, the Amish are great people and they
are not afraid to work, but trash like Smoker
are to dumb and idiotic to know how to work
so the trash like him just steal and murder to get
    what they want….

  2. OMG, just imagine what there would be if an Othodox Jewish girl or religious Black person killed.
