Biohacker, 39, Has “The Body Of A Five-Year-Old”

Have you ever heard of biohacking? Well, if you haven’t, it is the process of “hacking” your own biology and improving your brain and body with certain practices.

Ari Rastegar is one “biohacking” afficianado. Rastegar is 39 years old, but he claims to have the body of a 5-year-old.

The real-estate tycoon has been visiting a clinic in Mexico over the last 18 months for stem-cell infusions. These are scientifically unproven and cannot be carried out in the US.

The treatment, which is believed to cost around $7,000 each time, involves extracting blood and then spinning it in a centrifuge to separate red and white cells and then putting it back in the body.

Speaking to the New York Post, Rastegar joked, “I always joke that, apart from my baby daughter, I’m the youngest Rastegar. I think my lifestyle and health give me the competitive edge.”

“They inject between 15 million and 100 million stem cells directly into the vein for overall health and wellness. It’s bish bash, get what you need in 15 minutes, and then you’re back in the car,” he said.

Rastegar has nine percent body fat. He explained, “I’m in the best shape of my life. But it’s not a vanity or egotistical thing. I’m in risk management and it’s an investment in my health.”

In addition to the treatment in Mexico, Rastegar also has a very specific diet consisting of cold water fish and vegetable smoothies. He also takes 125 vitamin tablets every day.

He also practices meditation for 70 minutes three times a week in a hyperbaric chamber where he breathes in almost pure oxygen.

Rastegar also says he survives on four hours of sleep each night. His bed is designed for him and his wife Kellie to be at different temperatures.

His is set to an “optimal sleeping temperature” of 68°F, while Kellie’s side is set to 72°F.

“I’m following this lifestyle to be a better husband, father and investor. I’m not looking for any kind of health award,” Rastegar said.

“The day I am no longer able to contribute and add value to my family, customers and humanity – whatever you want to call it – is the day I’m ready to go.”
