A Toronto woman captured video of the bizarre sight she saw upon looking out the window into her backyard: a squirrel holding a knife.

Andrea Diamond lives in the Rosedale area of Toronto. She said that squirrels are very common in her backyard. But this time one of those squirrels picked up a paring knife she left by a tent in her yard.

“So apparently knife-wielding squirrels are a thing now,” Diamond captioned the tweet of the video.

Diamond said the squirrel chewed on the knife for a while before exiting her backyard, leaving the knife behind. But the squirrel apparently returned later to continue chewing on the knife.

The squirrel did not appear to have injured itself with the knife, according to Diamond.
