It was recently reported that there could be as many as 5 million migrants traveling in caravans from Latin American countries to the United States. Additionally, over 40 million Latin Americans have expressed the desire to come to the US, and it is presumed that very few of them will do so legally.

We hear a variety of reasons from many conservatives as to why we should not let these migrant caravans into the country. There are probably a dozen or so good reasons to stop them at the border, but for brevity’s sake, here are some of the key reasons summed up from many sources:

1) Legality. There is a reason they are called illegal aliens. They violate US federal immigration laws by crossing the border illegally. That makes EVERY illegal alien a criminal. Democrats and sewage stream media (I prefer this term because of the crap they push on all of us) try to mask the fact that every illegal alien is a criminal by calling them undocumented immigrants. Democrats and the sewage stream media like to hide the truth by using so-called politically correct terms like undocumented immigrants. They also coined the politically correct term ‘social justice’ to use instead of socialism. At the time, socialism was still offensive to many, but hey, social justice sounds great, doesn’t it? Don’t be fooled by their erroneous and dangerous twisting of language.

2) Crime. The last estimate I saw said that illegal aliens cost US taxpayers $165 BILLION a YEAR. That cost includes the financial burden incurred by many schools, medical care, food stamps, welfare and other government assistance programs and law enforcement costs. Since a number of sources claim that there are about 141 million taxpayers in the US, $165 billion breaks down to about $1,170 per taxpayer. I don’t know about you, but there is a lot of things I could do with $1,270 a year. Or, eliminating illegal aliens already here in the US would mean that the federal government could use the savings toward the national debt.

3) Jobs. Again, I don’t care what Democrats and the sewage stream say, I’ve seen firsthand how illegal aliens have taken jobs away from Americans who were ready and willing to work. Unethical business owners, especially in the construction field, pay illegals cash under the table so that they don’t have to pay benefits and taxes. Consequently, the illegals also don’t pay taxes.

5) Objectional Character. It’s already been proven that violent criminals and gang members have entered the US by hiding among earlier migrant caravans. I’ve also heard from ranchers along the border that have found numerous Islamic items left in the desert by illegals crossing into the US. A few years ago, it was reported that ISIS was trying to work with Mexican drug cartels for access to the US.

Speaking of undesirables, the actions of a current migrant caravan crossing from Guatemala is an example of why they are undesirables and why we don’t want them here in our country.

“Members of a Central American migrant caravan violently attacked unarmed Mexican federal immigration officers with rocks and other blunt objects Tuesday after government officials tried to block the group from illegally crossing into Mexico from Guatemala.”

“Newly released video taken from inside one of the Mexican government vehicles shows a group of about 1,000 people walking down a road in Tapachula after refusing to turn around. Similar videos and pictures circulated by Mexican media confirm the incident took place Tuesday.”

“Federal immigration officers from Instituto Nacional de Migracion, Mexico’s national immigration agency, had lined up a handful of white vans and pickup trucks in a row to keep the caravan from passing by.”

“But as the caravan became increasingly rowdy, the Mexican officials ran back into their vehicles. One female officer yelled, ‘Vamanos,’ Spanish for ‘Let’s go’.”

Another recent migrant caravan that had arrived at the US border violently attacked US Border Patrol and law Enforcement as they tried to storm over our border. These people obviously care nothing about US law and therefore cannot be trusted to keep or abide by our laws once they are hear. They have the ‘I demand’ or ‘You Owe Me’ type attitude instead of an attitude of sincerely asking for help and willing to do whatever to get that help. Here in America, we call those kinds of people Democrats, and we already have far too many of them here now and we definitely don’t need any more.
