Man Dressed Up as “Viking” During Capitol Riot Moved to Jail that Serves Organic Food
The shirtless man who stormed the U.S. Capitol Building in full face paint and biking horns has been moved to a Virginia jail after a federal judge ordered authorities to give him organic food while he is in custody.
Jacob Chansley was transferred to the Alexandria Detention Center after his lawyer argued that his client hadn’t eaten for 9 days because organic food wasn’t served in the jail in Washington where Chansley was originally held. A judge ordered officials to provide him with the special diet.
Chansley has lost 20 pounds since being transferred from Arizona to Washington last week, his attorney told the judge. Chansley, who calls himself the “QAnon Shaman,” says that eating organic food is a part of his “shamanic belief system and way of life.”
The judge said jail officials in nearby Alexandria could accommodate the special diet.
Chansley was charged with civil disorder, obstruction, disorderly conduct, and other charges for his role in the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6. He was among a group of hundreds of pro-Trump supporters who charged past outnumbered police officers and stormed the Capitol as Congress was meeting to vote to certify Joe Biden’s electoral win.
The FBI identified Chansley from images taken during the riot that showed his distinctive tattoos. Chansley was inside the Capitol and on the Senate dais as he carried a U.S. flag on a pole topped with a spear. Authorities said he also wrote a threatening note to then-Vice President Mike Pence.
Shaman is a nutshell: that showed up with too many pictures as a paid actor to bring the demise of the electoral process fiasco: he was not part of the group that was listening to President Donald J Trump: but a paid breacher, planned and executed by those who didn’t want to admit that President Donald J Trump had won in a landslide victory: if he was a true believer in America and the constitution of the United States our nation and the Bill of rights: he would have been with the supporters not in the congressional building: the time sequence don’t match up with this nutshell.
What you left out is that this guy is one of a number of Antifa infiltrators who were there that day. I was there on Capital Hill that day for hours –why weren’t there enough police or barricades? Why were they there for hours climbing over scaffoldings and more and the police did very little. There is much to this story that is yet to be told.
