Curing Breast Cancer Without Chemo

Health

How often have you heard cancer victims say that the cure is worse than the cancer?

Most cancers require invasive surgery and/or radiation and/or chemotherapy. Cancer surgery alone not only can remove the cancer, but it often leaves nasty scars and the person weakened for months. The radiation and chemotherapy often makes a cancer patient so sick that many wish they would die instead of enduring more. It drastically impacts every aspect of their lives, often leaving them in social isolation from everyone else around them.

I worked with a lady who had breast cancer surgery on both breasts. Surgeons had to remove both breasts along with other surrounding tissues and lymph nodes. After the surgery, she underwent several months of intense chemotherapy. She shared that the chemotherapy was the worse part of her treatment, even worse than the surgery and realization that she lost her breasts. The chemotherapy made her extremely sick, constant vomiting, intense weakness, headaches, body aches. The only place she could get out of the house to go was to go for her chemo treatment. She had to have someone else do her shopping, fix her meals, which usually never stayed down, clean her house and more. She felt that she was a prisoner in her own home due to the chemo. She admitted that there were many days that she not only wished she was dead but actually contemplated taking her own life to avoid any more suffering from the chemo.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful for her and millions of other women facing breast cancer to not have to undergo the terrible ravages of chemo and still have their breast cancer cured?

According to researchers in Israel they appear to have found this very solution to treating breast cancer without the toxic and debilitating chemotherapy:

A decade-long Israeli study published this month shows that women who discover they have breast cancer in an early phase can possibly avoid chemotherapy.

Results show that close to 100% of the women who participated in the study, didn’t have the disease resurge, even though none had gone through chemotherapy.

The study, which was published in the prestigious international journal “Nature Breast Cancer”, tracked for ten years 1365 female Israeli who had the two most common forms of the disease, ER+ and HER2-. All had the disease discovered during its early phases.

As part of the study, the women went through an Oncotype DX checkup, where a grade between one and 100 is giving to the risk level of the disease resurging.

Every patient with a grade of 25 and lower, was advised to forgo chemotherapy.

Oncotype DX is a unique molecular checkup done on the tumor tissue of the patient during her biopsy or during her first surgery to remove to tumor.

This checkup measures the biological profile by measuring 21 unique genes found within the tumor cells.

And indeed, the research results show that about 97.4% of women who forgone chemotherapy as a result of the checkup, never had the disease return.

The mortality rate among the study group stood at only 0.7%.

This is an important revelation in the field, considering the chemotherapy many times has long lasting severe health ramifications.

One of the biggest risks is a severe and permanent damage to the patient’s immune system, which could be a life risk

Like so many other promising reports, more studies will need to take place before this procedure is approved and available, but once it has, it will make a huge difference in the lives of millions of breast cancer patients. No more chemo or the horrendous effects and impacts it makes on their lives.
